ALT18XXP 1.8 GHz Distribution Taps
High-Performance Distribution for Next-Generation HFC Networks
ABS Blue Series ALT18XXP Distribution Taps are engineered for DOCSIS 4.0 and downstream frequencies up to 1.8 GHz. These hardline multi-taps provide excellent bi-directional compatibility, low insertion loss, high port-to-port isolation and power-passing capability. Built for demanding outside-plant environments, the ALT18XXP Series features a corrosion-resistant case, weather-resistant epoxy finish and sealed covers for reliable environmental protection.

1.8 GHz Face Plate
Upgrade Legacy Taps for 1.8 GHz Performance
The ABS 1.8 GHz Series Face Plate provides a field-upgradable solution to expand network bandwidth and prepare existing infrastructure for future DOCSIS 4.0 networks. Instead of replacing the entire tap, operators can replace the tap plate to upgrade legacy equipment to 1.8 GHz performance. Designed to fit Regal® horseshoe-style housings used in today’s networks, the face plate provides installation flexibility while supporting a full range of tap values.

The ABS 1.8 GHz Series Face Plate White provides a field-upgradable path to expanded bandwidth and future DOCSIS 4.0 networks. By replacing the existing tap plate rather than the entire tap, operators can upgrade legacy infrastructure to 1.8 GHz while maintaining installation flexibility. Designed specifically for Regal® wide-body style housings, the white face plate is optimized for use with ABS white wide-body back cases.
